Well it sure does sound like Emma and Peighton were some busy little girls and had a great weekend! I am looking forward to some pictures, they are such cuties! I hope you are doing well also, I am always thinking of you and the girls! Have a great Monday and good luck with the carpet cleaning ( I know what it can get like with little ones)!

Chris, you continue to amaze me with you strength and amazing love. How lucky those little girls are to have a daddy like you. Jen has to be very proud as she looks down upon you from heaven. God Bless!!

Tracy

Chris,

Thank you for keeping up with your blog. You have so many people praying for you, the girls, Jan and the rest of the family, it's nice to hear that they are working for the most part. Speaking from loosing three family members to the monster of cancer, the only thing that has helped me is God and continual prayers. Sounds like you know exactly what you need to do. It also takes time, of course. Someone has maybe mentioned it, but there is some excellent Christian grieving groups that have been awesome...it's obvious you have tons of friends and family that are there for you, but it might help later on. Thank you again for sharing your family's story on your awesome strength and enduring faith.

Chris,

Thank you for continuing with your website, you have been such a source of insipiration for so many. We continue to have you in our prayers and so often in our thoughts.

I recently heard about this blog and read all of it in 24 hours. I'm sure it's difficult to believe that the world continued to spin while this tragedy was unfolding in you and your wife's life. Your blog showed me, and continues to show me, based on today's entry, to keep living life. Your beautiful wife lived her life to the fullest until her body gave out and your lovely little girls will continue to inspire you to do the same. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

Chris,
Thank you first of all for staying with the blog i look forward to seeing what you have to see each day and it really inspires me to do something special with my life and love someone like you loved Jen. Your daughters are lucky to have a father like you. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers and I am going to purchase a bracelet too. Have a good week.

Me and my family set aside our Valentine's money to donate to the Jennifer Ireland Fund, but I want my children to get involved and see how good it is to help others. I want them to see the challenges in life and have them want and enjoy making a difference even if it is a small contribution. Do you have any suggestions on doing this? I lost my mother to Adrenal Cancer when I was 17 and 10 years later I am having a harder time with this than ever. I can't even begin to image what your family is going through as each persons experience is different. I just want you all to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My name is Stephanie. Someone gave me a link to your site. I lost my husband to metastatic melanoma Dec. 1st. I have a 9 month old little boy. You and your family will be in my prayers. I know I'm a stranger, but it has helped me to talk to someone who has experienced losing a spouse at a young age. My e-mail address is ksmccord@geusnet.com.

Dear Chris and Jan:
What fun things for two precious little girls to do - and then get to go to Grandma's house. Grandma and the girls will have a great time! I hope smiles are on all of their faces. Pictures are always fun to see - please share some with us. Reading the remarks from others sharing your special signs that Jen is with you gives me joy. Jen was a blessing in life and now she is a blessing from Heaven, signs that all is well. Chris, bless you as you take one step each day - prayers are always your companion.

God bless you,
Dee

Dear Chris
I heard about you and Jen from Rocket and Teresa. I immediately looked up your blog and am so touched by your love and devotion to your beautiful wife. My son was born with a heart defect and we almost lost him at 6 years of age. He now has a pacemaker and is happy and healthy. But I do remember those days of being told to call in the family we have lost him. I have never felt such heart break and a sense of dispair. I admire your faith and courage! My faith, family and friends are what got me through and I can see you have that in abundance. God has touched many lives through you and Jen, including mine! My prayers are with you and your precious girls. Chris, you are an inspiration to us all. Kristina

Chris,
You are such an inspiration to so many people and the fact that you continue to carry on your wife's legacy and share it with the world, is so amazing. I have been touched deeply by everything and it has changed my life in many ways. Although, I don't know you or your beautiful family, I feel like I do and I want to thank you for continuing your story. I always keep you, the girls and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Jen must be so proud of you!!!! I will definitley be purchasing one of the Jennifer Ireland bracelets.

I am so glad you are still posting. I think of all your every day and can't wait to get online. I feel like you all are a part of my family. I am so glad to hear that Jen lets you all know that she is with you.

Her Memory like a rose will always grow in the garden of your heart.

God Bless

Corinne

I have ordered one of the bracelets and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival! I can't wait to wear it. I've been telling many people about Jen and your story and have even mentioned it in some of my classes which are based on discussion...we discuss a lot of things related to the class subjects, but one of those was about something that influenced or affected many people, and I talked about this blog, trying to get your story more known! I know so many others are learning about Jen even as I type, and because of that she will live on forever. :)

God Bless.

Hi Chris,

Jennifer and I graduated from BS together in '97 and for a few years she lived near my family and I. I remember her always smiling and laughing, it was contagious! She had a beautiful smile. I am sorry to hear that she has passed away. I wish I could have attended the funeral. I hope you and the girls are doing well.
