Jen and Chris,
I do not know you, but I was touched by your story in the Star and by your amazing strength in fighting this horrible disease. I will pray that you find a cure so that you may live a long and happy life together and with your children. I don't think many people could have the courage that you are showing in dealing with such a tough fight, but you seem to have a positive outlook and I think that is what drew me to send this email. God Bless you Jen and your family and may he cure you from your cancer! Please have a Merry Christmas and never give up.
When I read you story it caused me to remember back on April 1, 1996 when I received a call from my sister telling me our mother's colon had ruptured from a grapefruit size tumor. We were told she had colon cancer. Mom was 78 years old then and she lived for another 8 years, passing away at 86; to her doctor's surprise. Mom fooled everyone who thought back in '96 that her cancer would take her, it did not. She was cancer free when she passed away in 2004.
Jen, your brave heart, strong mind and happy feelings will serve you well at this time of your life. You, Chris and your children will be on my mind everyday, I will only allow thoughts of healing, happiness and a full and bright future for you, Chris and your children to enter my mind when I think of you.

I have not seen Chris since he coached my daughter in swimming. He's a great pillar of support. I don't know Jen but I used to know Jordan. Hang in there. Goodness begets goodness and you both have plenty of this. You are in our family's thoughts. Nancy Schneiderr

Wow Jen! You are such a fighter! Hang in there. I have been checking in weekly on the blog and think about you often. My husband and I are praying for you and your family. Hope you can find time to relax and enjoy yourself and the company around you this Christmas. Merry Christmas!
Jen & Chris, I have colon cancer. I was diagnosed July 2005. I was told to have surgery to remove the two tumors, but I chose to treat it holistically and by Jan 2006 all the test showed that the two tumors were gone and a biopsy showed no cancer.
Thinking and praying for your daily. I read this quote on a website today and thought of you. "To be a star you must shine your own light, follow your own path and not be afraid of the darkness, for that is when stars shine brightest." Author Unknown
You are the brightest star I know!
We don't know each other, but I saw your story in the paper and was so moved, got on your blog and read every word. Please hold your head high and keep your faith, as a nurse I have SEEN MIRACLES with my own eyes. It takes both faith and medicine. Your girls are so wonderfully blessed. I know this must be trying to you, but always remember them in your fight. Everytime I think that my children are about to unwind my last nerve I will look at your blog and see that I am so lucky. I will pray for you. It seems so petty, but you know its true that God does test us, but never gives us more than we can bear.
Dear Jen and Family:
As we prepare for our precious Saviors birth, my heart has been with all of you. As I have heard before from the bible, "Our Father knows what we need even before we ask." It is my Christmas prayer for you to be completely healed and I believe the Lord has done this for you. Thank you Lord for this special gift.
I wanted you and your family to know we think and pray for you often. We pray you have a Merry Christmas and wishes for a wonderful New Year.... full of promise, hope and miracles!
Hugs and Blessings to your family!
